Area Sales Director

We are now looking for an Area Sales Director to manage and grow our focus accounts, broaden our customer base, and grow sales in Southern Europe. As an Area Sales Director, you will be part of the global sales team tasked to win new customers and to up- and cross-sell to the existing customers.
As the Area Sales Director your role requires experience in software and solution sales, account management and the ability to learn quickly new products. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential in building effective relationships with customers and other members of the team. We are looking for the right person who is enthusiastic about our products and is keen to create long-term and successful customer relationships.

Key tasks:
- Create and execute our go-to-market strategy in the defined region which includes Spain, Portugal and Italy. Some of our Southern European customers also operate in Latin America
- Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved
- Understand customer needs and present solutions based on these needs
- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers
- Introduce products and propositions to potential customers and update existing customers on new product features
- Demonstrate products to the customers and offer necessary pre-sales product support to the customers
- Create commercial offers to the customers and negotiate sales agreements
- Update sales forecast and maintain CRM weekly
- Follow up competitive landscape in the region
What do we expect from you?
- Proven track record in sales and account management
- Familiarity with software and SaaS business models, understanding of smart phone markets and circular economy is a benefit
- Strong customer focus and ability to understand and find solutions to meet customer’s needs combined with project management skills and a proactive approach
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and consultative sales skills
- Inspiring presentation skills
- Optimistic and dynamic mindset
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese, Italy or other languages is considered as an advantage)

Our head quarter office is in Tampere, but we are looking for an Area Sales Director that is located in Malaga, Madrid or another major city in Spain or for example in Lisbon.
